Policies and Procedures at Alma Super Storage

At Alma Super Storage, we strive to provide a seamless and secure storage experience. To ensure clarity and consistency, we’ve outlined our policies regarding rental agreements, move-ins, and move-outs. Whether you’re just starting your storage journey or preparing to vacate your unit, our guidelines are designed to help you every step of the way. From setting up your account to understanding insurance options and move-out expectations, you’ll find all the essential details here. Rental Agreement

  • Monthly Pricing and Terms: All rental prices are based on a per-month rate with a one-month minimum commitment.
  • Security Deposit: A $50 security deposit is required for all rentals and will be refunded after a successful move-out inspection.
  • Administrative Fee: A one-time $10 administration fee is charged to cover the cost of our online server, which handles credit card processing and monthly billing.
  • Tenant Property Insurance: Alma Super Storage does not insure tenant property. Obtaining private renters insurance is the responsibility of the tenant.
  • Safe-Stor Insurance: Safe-Stor insurance is available as an optional add-on and can be purchased at any time. This coverage is provided through Web Self Storage, a U-Haul affiliate software company that we use for property management.

Move-In Policy

  • Account Setup: Call our office to set up your account within two weeks of your desired move-in date.
  • Unit Availability: If your preferred unit size is not immediately available, we can add you to a waitlist for that specific size.
  • Rental Contract: At the time of move-in, you will need to sign a rental contract. This contract will either be emailed to you or placed inside the unit you are renting for your convenience.
  • Insurance Options: You will have the option to accept or decline an insurance addendum at move-in. Insurance can be added at any time, or you may choose to secure your own private renter's insurance.
  • Document Submission: Please sign all required paperwork and return it to the office using the mail slot located in the office door.

Move-Out Policy

  • Notice of Move-Out: Please provide an advance move-out date by calling, texting, or emailing us in writing.
  • Closing Your Account: After vacating the facility for the last time, notify us so we can officially close your account.
  • Condition of the Unit: Units must be emptied of all belongings and left broom clean. Ensure the door is closed with no lock left on it.
  • Photo Documentation: Take a photo of the empty unit at the time of move-out and send it to us via email or text for verification.
  • Storage Unit Availability: All unit sizes are subject to availability. If your desired size is unavailable, you can be placed on a waitlist or choose a different size that is currently available.
  • Moving Supplies for Sale: We offer moving boxes and locks for purchase to assist with your storage needs.
